    I’m a bit of a moisturizer addict, and in time have learned to differentiate the over-priced and useless from the get-your-money’s-worth products. This is definitely a product that lives up to the asking price. Unlike 100% shea butter products at The Body Shop or L’Occitaine that are overtreated to the point that they lose a lot of their healing qualities, this shea butter is a more raw form. Sure, it smells like cooking oil (which is strange) and it does take a while to completely absorb into your skin (much like coco butter or other rich moisturizers) but it is a lasting moisturizer that feels great.

    Pros:

    *Great moisturizer

    *Rich and long-lasting

    *At under $10 a pound (including shipping) this is one of the cheapest shea butters available

    Cons:

    *Smells like vegetable oil

    *Comes in a Chinese take-out container

    *Sort of lumpy texture, until it melts on your hand

    GREAT ITEM WORTH EVERY PENNY, REALLY!!! I’VE USED THIS TYPE OF SHEA BUTTER FOR ABOUT 2 1/2 YEARS NOW AND THIS ORDER WAS NO DIFFERENT. I LOVE IT AND RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. I USE IT S A DEEP CONDITIONER AND IT WORKS GREAT, NOSE MOISTURIZER ( I STAY IN ARIZONA MOVED FROM LOUISIANA AND MY NOSE IS ALWAYS DRY), SUN SCREEN, DRY SKIN, YOU CAN MELT IT AND USE IT A HOT OIL TREATMENT FOR YOUR HAIR OR BODY MASSAGE OIL AS WELL! ANOTHER TIP IS THAT A 32oz WILL LAST YOU FOREVER, REALLY FOREVER AND IT LOOKS JUST LIKE THE PIC!
