This is my first flat iron it worked great. Now I don’t have wild hair or overly thick hair but I do have straight hair with alot of body in it and had no problems getting the body out of my hair. Great flat iron for the price..

I’m the type of person that ALWAYS reads reviews before buying products. After reading some of the reviews for this flat iron, I decided to give it a try. And I absolutely love it. The price was excellent and worked great. I have VERY curly fine hair, that always frizz in humidity. It laid down my hair beautifully. I uploaded before and after photos. If you have similar hair, I would try the new line from Pantene Pro-V line for curly hair. I used Curls to Straight Shampoo, Dry to Moisturized Conditioner, and Anti-Frizz straightening creme. I was very happy with the result. Hope this helps the other frizzy curly hair people out there. :)

This is a really great flat iron! This will be my second time buying it. The first one I bought is finally starting to die out after 6 years! I love how tight it is on my hair and it doesn’t pull. I had bought 2 different brands and didn’t like them because they were very loose and didn’t straighten my hair. The only thing that sucks is I got it at wal mart and they don’t sell it there anymore and it was maybe $10.00 when I got it but $25.00 is still totally worth it!

Even though it’s cheap, you get more than what you paid for. Your able to use the flat iron IMMEDIATELY. Plug it in, get your hair supplies out, or brush your teeth and whallah! It’s Straightening time.

I have tight curls and cut my hair really short, so my original flat iron wasn’t really straightening my roots. With the Andis Flat iron I can finish my entire hair in 10 minutes leaving the hair sleek and sexy.

The iron gets REALLY HOT so be careful, ESPECIALLY around foreheads and children.

    Enjoy!

I got this from Walmart not really knowing what to expect because I read good reviews but it was only $15 (our walmart was no longer going to stock them so I got the last one for $10!). Here’s what I’ve noticed:

    > for anyone how has used a high quality straightener, you’ll noticed that the ceramic plates are not as smooth. They are still smoother than the gold flat irons, so don’t fret. It doesn’t pull my hair like my old one. So that’s an improvement.

    > Good location of the buttons. Some of the more expensive straighteners have button on the front of the handle and I’m always accidentally pushing them. I also liked the “ready” indicator.

    > Finally, yes it does straighten my hair. Better than my old one. But I don’t have very difficult hair anyway so it was on the medium setting (10ish). I did straighten my curly-haired friend’s hair and I think it got straighter as well. I had a 2″ gold-plated Vidal Sasoon previously and I wanted to get ceramic plates.

    It’s perfect for my needs!
