How Aztec Secret Works Indian Healing Clay Clays have been used for centuries to beautify and refresh when used as a facial mask. Cleopatra used clay from the Nile river and the Arabian desert over 1800 years ago, as part of her beauty ritual. German and Roman spas have been using clay packs and treatments in the spas they built 4,000 years ago. Many of these spas still exist and use clay even today. Pliney the Elder devoted an entire chapter of his Natural History” to the many uses of clay for pimples, black heads and skin tightening. Many famous naturopaths, such as Kuhn, Just and Kneipp have contributed to the revival of the uses of clay through their natural treatments for arthritus and skin ailgments. Aztec Indian Healing Clay A Brief History – The Worlds Most Powerful Facial The use of clay with apple cider vinegar can be dated back to the southern French priest of the16th century, Kneipp, and his natural treatments using clay packs and poultices. Throughout history the use of clay, specifically green clay or bentonite, is well documented. This product delivers!!! If there was a way to give a 10 star rating, I would. I do not have acne prone skin; however, I still experience minor facial mishaps–a pimple here, a zit there, etc. In addition, the pores in the corners of my nose are quite large. I followed the instructions on the label to a T and my skin thanked me for it! My face was oh so soft and smooth. I noticed the results after just one use–my face appeared refreshed and brighter. The pores on my nose seemed smaller and after I rinsed, I didn’t feel the need to apply a moisturizer as I do with the OTC cleansers. The ONLY downside is the fact that the tightening effect can initially feel a bit itchy and somewhat uncomfortable…but the discomfort subsided as the clay dried.

I use to use the mask in high school. My friend and I bought it so we could laugh at each other when our faces tightened up with the mask on and our lips began to pucker out. I never really paid attention to how well it actually worked. Cut to 10 years later I purchased the mask again on my now “aging” skin and it worked wonderfully! I’ve used many products by many different people and I would say by far this mask is my favorite. I’ve never mixed it with water, I always use the Apple Cider Vinegar. I do tend to have somewhat sensitive skin, but I’m still okay with this mask. My face is very red afterwards but I can see a big difference in my skin. I say give it a try.

I use this to deep cleanse my face as well as my hair and it works great. Definitely a staple in my regimen.

I can already see the difference in my skin. Now, granted I don’t have horrible skin but I do tend to breakout on my checks and nose. My skin appears to be more radiant. I plan to do the facial every two days…, wish me luck!! Great product and very economical on the pockets.
