I decided to try Avalon Organics biotin b-complex thickening shampoo after watching my dad and brother start thinning more over the years even though we were young still. This shampoo has given noticeable results and even makes my hair feel thicker. Before I would notice several hair strands come out after showering and drying but now a lot fewer and mostly no hair strands come out on the towel after using for a while. At first, it appeared to have a distinct smell that was not very pleasing but it hasn’t been an issue after my first time using it. The bottle is large so it will last a while and I highly recommend Avalon Organic products. Avalon Organics lavender shampoo is also amazing a very natural for thinning or receding hair issues.

I previously used Fructics but my hair gradually grew immune to it, so I decided to try another product. I bought this shampoo based on the reviews on Amazon, and so far I’m satisfied with it. With Avalon, my hair gets back into good shape much faster (several hours compared to 1-2 days with Fructics). I don’t even need conditioner for smoothing and shining effects. The only cons is that the bottle and the smell make it more likely a medicine bottle.

I’m a female and natural redhead with very fine long hair..plus my age (late 40s) has brought thinning hair. I’ve tried many products for thinning hair and/or those advertising adding more body. This is the best shampoo I’ve found..I’m thrilled it builds body in my hair so well. I also use a very mild conditioner from avon which is not for body. My hair is soft and full..it feels and looks so good. We all know what works for one person might not work for another, but this is worth a try.

This shampoo is loaded with Biotin which strengthens your hair. It also helps your hair to grow thicker as well. I encourage others to read about Biotin & start using it.

There is no such thing as a shampoo that will make your hair grow nor will any add natural thickness to your hair. These claims are totally unwarranted and without merit. Incidentally the back of the bottle states that this will: maintain a healthy scalp, nourish follicles, help restore thinning hair, strengthen hair strands and boost body and volume. I use this shampoo because it is very mild and has a nice fragrance (lemon). It is certified organic by Quality Assurance International and by BioAgriCert (a company in Italy). I wish Avalon (the brand that manufactures this) would have taken a little bit more care in the packaging, it’s just a bottle with a lid that anyone can open up (there isn’t any safety seal around the top and the lid can come completely off unlike other big-name brands). Biotin is not the main ingredient in this (it is the 9th listed), some of the other ingredients include: organic aloe barbadensis leaf juice (2nd ingredient), soy protein, citric acid, potassium sorbate and organic rosemary officinalis. This is not 14 ounces though. I thought the bottle looked a little small (compared to my Pantene which is only 12.6) and found it to be barely 12 ounces. When I contacted Amazon they quickly issues me a partial refund for the mistake. Even with the rebate they offered me this is still a little pricey. But if you want a light shampoo without a lot of harsh chemicals then you may want to try this.
