I bought this for my wife to replace her old elilady that was worn out. She says the Braun Epilator works better (faster) runs smother and is better than the epilady was, when it was new. She is very happy with the purchase she was even kicking herself for not buying something new sooner. I wont say how I came to be aware the old epilady was warn out but I got brownie points for making the purchase. A happy wife is not the only benefit ;-)

I do like this product. Yes it hurts the first time you are pulling your hair out. lol

Pain is not bad. I have very fine hair though so sometimes instead of ripping the hair out it just breaks it off.

Takes a long time as would any other Epilator. I had to go over and over to get all the hair. Did the armpits too. It worked well for that also.

I gave it three stars for the breakage of my hair instead of pulling it out. I only get maybe 4 days (same as regular shaving) before I have to do it again. Also it does cost more than others.

This product didn’t really pluck out my hair…it cut off the hairs and that way i just didn’t have the smooth feeling. It also takes a long time to get all of the hair removed–I was prepared for that but it just takes tooo long. I am just disappointed with this product-will probably returning it.

This is the first epilator I’ve ever used. It comes with a 60 day warranty. Mine fell apart on the 60th day, the 4th time I used it (one of the massaging rollers fell off, the screw just came out.) This was on a Sunday, so I could not mail it in til the 61st day. I’ve been trying to get ahold of an actual person for Braun to ask if I can still mail in my epilator to be repaired (as this is the 61st day), but it appears getting an actual person instead of an automated message is impossible. The motor still works, but it is annoying that the roller came off.

Overall, I would say the epilator is painless. Now, it hurt like crazy the first time I used it – I think I could now handle getting tasered – but after the first time, the pain was far less. It doesn’t even hurt to use it on the bikini line. (Again though, the first time is AWFUL and I did bleed.)

However, I am unimpressed by the hair removal. It takes a very long time, and despite going over the same spot over and over, there are still a lot of hairs left behind, so I always have to shave afterward anyway. I also get red dots from the epilator that have lasted for almost 24 hours.

I don’t think the epilator was worth the money, it doesn’t seem to do its job.

I started epilating instead of shaving about three years ago. This one is the best I’ve found so far. It is fast yet gentle. That’s the main thing. The other Braun (blue) is nice because of the light, but it doesn’t grab as well as this pink one so is somewhat slow.
