    This is my second Braun shaver and it is an excellent quality unit just like my first one. The improvements in this model now make it feel about three times better to shave. Furthermore the cleaning functionality is much improved and a pleasure to use. On top of all that, I purchased this from Amazon and shipped it to Australia using a virtual mailbox, this saved me at least 45% cost including the shipping as compared to purchasing from a local vendor. Excellent shaver and a great price!

    Good shaver. Made in Germany. Very close shaving, but lock broke down very first day.It does not affect shaving, but it is bad, not reliable design. I read some reviews before about broken locks, but could never imagine it would happen to me and it did as I said at very first day. After I found that actually plastic pin broke on that lock I did very stupid thing trying to fix it. I glued this pin by “Crazy glue” to lock and it was ok. But after first cleaning, I guess, glue melted ( because of heat and alcohol in cleaning liquid) and now lock slider sticks forever to shaving head. I will say again, it does not affect shaving and it still perfect, just be careful with lock.

    I purchased this for my husband through Amazon in early June. By early August the shaver stopped charging. I am BUYING a new cord to see if this is the problem. If it isn’t resolved, I’ll be calling Braun for a replacement because this is an expensive shaver. Seriously, I don’t want to deal with these issues when I pay a lot for an item.

    I recently graduated from college and began shaving every morning for work for the first time in my life. Ive always had good but sensitive skin but shaving every morning took its toll and i started to develop acne around my jaw line. I bought this guy and within two weeks my skin is almost clear again.

    i dont understand how people complain about this thing. Skin feels great, shave is close, and there isnt any razor burn or issues at all.
