    I love these rollers. I bought them based on a reccomendation from my director(I moonlight as a stage actor)since I have to curl my hair 5x’s a week for a 1959 hairstyle. They’re easy to use. Not only do they work great without damaging my hair, on the days we have two shows I don’t have to re-curl. The unit starts to steam in a few min. so no more waiting. I’m at the end of four weeks of performance and my hair looks good(really good!) on stage and off because for the first time I’m not frying/burning it to death. I’m a “Caruso” steam roller girl for life!

    I’m one of the unlucky people for whom this product didn’t work. No matter what I did the curls wouldn’t stay in for more than an hr. I tried different things and no difference. The only way I can get curls is by leaving the rollers on the steamer for a long time, steam the caps, and then leaving then in my hair for more than four hrs so they can dry, and even after all that, I have no trace of curls in my hair at the end of the night. Back to using my straightener to create curls.

    it is my 3rd Caruso. I love what it does to my hair – besides shaping it. The steam helps keep my hair soft and much less dry…

    The product was advertise to be great and it’s not, I have been trying different ways to make sure it’s not my hair, and this product still doesn’t work.

    The product works wonders to smooth out my frizzy hair during periods of high humidity. Unfortunately, the heating units only last one year at most. I have tried distilled water, adding vinegar to the water once a week and everything else I can think of. It would be great if a replacement unit could be purchased without the cost of extra rollers and clips.
