    Does not perform anywere near the claims. The “Adjustable” head collapses to the shortest posistion if you apply the least amount of pressre. Additionally, if you can hold it so that the head does not collapse, the trimmer clogs up every 3 or 4 passes. You have to completely disassemble it to un clog it. I have tried it with clean hair, dirty hair, wet hair, damp hair, and dry hair. Same effect each time. To actually trim your chest, plan for over an hour. You have to repeatedly hit the same area over and over and over again.

    If you remove the whole collapsible head, the screen works ok, but again, you have to hit the area three or 4 times to get it all removed. Better off using a lighter.

    I purchased the Private Body Shaver (although not at this greatly reduced price which kinda pisses me off now) and I think it really does a decent job. I use it mainly on the groin area to tame the wild bush and make the area look neat and clean. One thing it doesn’t do well is the wrinkly skin to the “boys”. It actually pinched and grabbed the skin there a couple of time and it did make me bleed slightly. The only way to get the boys smooth is the old razor blade. I use it to trim it down then get the rest the old fashioned way. I was thinking about posting a video review with examples but was sure it would get flagged. LOL!

    The real reason you would get this shaver is to tidy up unkempt areas. Hey its a new thing and all the girls love it and its cool. So i had personally tried out a phillips body groomer first, which while it is similar in that you can use it in the shower as well as out of it. The Phillips didnt survive falling in the shower. I decided to return the Norelco and instead of getting another good razor decided to try out this MANGROOMER Shaver. Heard a few commercials for it, and well it has man in it so i thought that they would’ve done some R&D into shaving mens hair. Well first time it trimmed ok, and the shave part really is just there for aesthetics. The performance of this device just really degrades over time, to the point where instead of cutting the hair, it is now pulling it out, a big OUCH factor. Would i recommend this to all potential buyers, no not really. It doesnt do a good job at all and requires more work to trim in areas where it is just ridiculous. So fellas, i would recommend not making the same mistake with me and just picking up the Phillips Norelco Body Groomer instead. It just so happened that a couple of weeks ago, the foil to the shaver part broke, so no its useless.

    Works both in the shower and out. Nicely designed to get all the little spots and have used for over 8 months and buying first replacement blade today.

    IT WORKED TWICE AND THEN BEGAN TO COUGH AND WHIMPER. THE QUALITY IS PURE JUNK, BUT I WAS HOPING IT WAS A GOOD PRODUCT. CONSTANTLY HAS TO BE RECHARGED. I WILL RETURN IT TO BED, BATH AND BEYOND. DON’T WASTE ANY MONEY.
