    I became allergic to the lip gloss I used to use for dry lips. So I switched to Vaseline. After two years I began to have a bad reaction to it, including peeling lips. Yikes!

    Then I discovered Un-Petroleum Jelly at the local health food store. I carefully read the label. I don’t remember how long ago it was, but it has been years now. It works great, and no reactions! Yippee!

    But the health food store sometimes takes a long time to get something back in stock. I think they have management problems or something. I need some now, and they are out. They were out of it the last couple of times hubby checked for it, too. So I decided to look online. And bless you Amazon, for carrying it! Bless you, bless you, bless you! I love Amazon!

    The thought of putting anything on my skin with petroleum in it,YUCK!!Came across this by accident, and absolutley love it. It does tend to be greasy. (hello…..it’s un-petroleum jelly) so I apply it at night, and say good bye to dry skin. With summer soon approaching, apply to your feet before you go to bed, put on a pair of cotton socks, and wake up with your feet so soft and smooth, you’ll have a great excuse to go buy a new pair of sandles!!

    I Love this stuff, I used to use real petroleum jelly because it soothes and has a thick consistency until I learned what all was in real petroleum. I love ALBA and here is yet another product I LOVE..Same consistency as petroleum but w/o all the harsh ingredients. UN-Petroleum is ALL NATURAL! GREAT PRICE here on amazon as well at the store is was about $5.00-$6.00 but I got it on amazon for right over $3.00! :o )

    This product definitely hydrates in an instant. However, only use it at bedtime on eyes and forehead. spreads funky, but when I woke up in the morning I looked so radiant (not my normal morning look).

    I love love love this stuff! My face is dry and sensitive, so I need all the moisture that I can get. At night time, I remove makeup, wash my face, use my toner, then moisturize my face and eyes and finish with a thick jelly to seal everything in and give my face a little extra hydration. Before I discovered this, I was using Elizabeth Arden’s 8 Hour Cream. The Elizabeth Arden worked well, but there were several problems with it.

    1. The smell. The 8 hour cream has fragrance (not at all good for my sensitive skin), and the smell was awful. My boyfriend wouldn’t even come near me when I was wearing it.

    2. The mineral oil. It burned my skin a bit. It didn’t cause breakouts or redness, but it wasn’t very soothing at all.

    3. The price. I spend a bit more on my beauty products, but I try to mix the expensive with the cheap and try to find cheaper solutions that are still good quality. The 8 Hour Cream was about $25, so it wasn’t crazy expensive, but it was still more than I would have liked to spend considering how much I use.

    With the Un-Petroleum Jelly, all these issues were solved. It has no smell, no added fragrance, no mineral oil, feels oh so luscious when I put it on, and you can’t beat the price. It’s perfect in every way. When I finish putting all of my other things on my face, I put this all over, including under my eyes, on the eyelid, eyelashes and eyebrows. My lashes and brows feel so much more hyrdrated and my skin looks flawless. It just shows, if you like the idea of a product, search around, do some research and see what else you can find until you’ve found the perfect solution. That’s what I did and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!
